Singlish; Colloquial Singaporean English, is an English-based creole language spoken in Singapore.
Although Singlish is heavily discouraged in the mass media and in schools, it is however routinely used by  ordinary people in street interviews broadcast on TV and radio on a daily basis, and occasional usage in newspapers.

Singlish is a language which heavily borrows vocabularies from the languages in Singapore - Mandarin/Hokkien/Tamil/Malay/English. While it is spoken at regularity, and considering to be one of the unique points of Singapore, it lacks an original typeface like those of other countries, e.g. Japan, Korea, China, Thailand.

The mission here is to challenge the Singaporean Languages and create a typeface to brand as the Singaporean Identity. This is an example of the proposed typeface, which are influenced and combining the stated languages above.
